For what do you use the bluetooth? Handsfree?
Perhaps you could steer the car
Wouldn't that be great. You could use the jog dial to steer. Like in stunt car.
Like James Bond does with his bmw...
You'd have to be within 10m of the car though...

Bit of a silly question to ask mate!!!
But so you know... yes.. the BT kit works in BMW's and it also works in Range Rovers. The car would never be the issue but the the BT kit would. Some of the kits don't seem to want to play but the SE one seems to work fine.
Just so you know, it also works in my girlfriends 15 year old Renult 5 which is a pants car although she thinks its a classic.
It ain't the car that makes a man..... or the size of his tackle..... it's the 14 stone pushing it in!!!

Works like a charm in my E46 BMW M3 Convertible. But not without the head f**ks that went along with it. I had to bring it back in forth my dealership. They got it working at one stage, but that only lasted a couple of days. For some reason it use to reset itself now and then. But they upgraded the software in the module and now it works fine.
Maybe try consulting the dealership where you brought your BMW from.

Yep!!!
Basically, it's a BT kit that fits in your car. No wires (well one or 2). Uses the car's radio speakers as sound out and there is a mic for sound in. If ur stereo can do it, it will aslo mute the radio automatically on a call. u pair ur phone to it like any normal BT device + u can teach it voice commands for voice dialing etc.
No drilling, No mess, No cradle, No fuss to install, some fuss to set it up though

Why r ppl bitchin about this post??
It is quite a serious question not just someone showing off their new toy. (btw - nice choice - what colour is it?)
What people don't understand is that the new BMWs do come with bluetooth!! BMW are quite up with current technology. Its for use with mobile phones n wireless headsets etc.
To answer the original question > I dont have a clue whether it will work or not - can't see y it wouldnt.

Well maybe before u actually bought ur brand new BMW (that ur prob working ur butt off 12hrs a day to pay for and that actually doesnt, no really it doesnt!, add any wot so meaningful qualities to the sad lonely lost materialistic pathetic creature u r) U should have researched that bloody thing before getting it or at least had a test drive with it and used ur P800 with it? Non?
Dont label us 'losers' for ur inadequacies!
May I remind u that u were the one who turned to us 'losers' on this forum in the 1st place, and actually when no1 answered ur question who was the REAL LOSER then? LOL! HEHE!
Maybe you should stop and think before u post CR4P in future...
