Blue,
It would be far easier to do this in real life than in photoshop!!
Only question is - did you have to bastardize the charger/dock to get the logo? If not, where did you get it from??

Excellent question bossjohnc... as you might know not all of the SE Emblems are equal (size or design). You are correct in guessing that I may have used the emblem from the P800 Cradle because the one from the P800 battery door isn't translucent.
First Photoshop secret revealed

hehe ... It just so happens that the emblem that SE uses on the back of a T300 is the same as the one on the Cradle. You therefore can use either one. They are only stuck on with a little adhesive and can be pushed out (from behind) through a little hole that is used for the locator pin on the emblem.

While I'm asking good questions - here's another...
Where's the RF coming from to make it light up in your picture? My guess is not from the phone, as it doesn't have a signal in the first pic!
Not that I doubt it works, but does it actually work as well as you show? (you say you had problems getting RF down that far)

As I mentioned on the 1st page of the Hofo thread it was a bugger to initially get everything just right so the LEDs would illuminate. (what I used was an existing aftermarket antenna, that as you put it, I had to “Bastardize” for my purposes) I also said that it is working beautifully now (for the last week with no problems) and should stay that way unless I go in and move things around.
The amazing thing is that there is no actual electrical connection to the P800’s antenna and to the LEDs and their little circuit board … it’s all through RF energy and close proximity … Magic hey!
You’ll understand a lot more once you see the pix on how I did this. I’m hoping to get that done tonight if time permits.

I look forward to seeing the pics - I know what you mean about the RF energy... you can buy little stickers with LEDs that react to the RF, with no other electrical source.
And it's
a word btw, so there's no reason to be afraid to use it!

10 minutes maybe?? loll
You paste the picture of the logo on your photo of the P800, put a reflecting light on it... Done...
And it 's not much more difficult to do it for a video also, just a little bit longer....1hour maybe...
