the c1002s has been out for a while. I'ts for the japanese market. Infact it was the first phone with the SonyEricsson logo on it, but a completely manufactured by Sony.

Well it's not spanish it's italian.
Use babelfish to translate it, go to http://babelfish.altavista.com and enter http://www.smshome.net/common/news/2001/aprile/29/29_04_2001_T35.html and select italian to english.

May I ask why is for the Japanese market? Isn't it a dual band GSM 900/1800?

Japan doesn't have GSM does it but it's own closed system?
