Maybe flashing the phone with a firmware may restart the phone. I had a phone that would not start before and I had it flashed and i guess it rebooted the phone.

Why did u not get a warranty/reciept with the fone? Not smart buying without, how do u know its not stolen? I think its right of SE not to service product for free under warranty if u cant show valid proof of purchase. This message was posted from a T610

maybe it's just me but i rarely have problems with most of the cell phones i have and when I do have problems they can be fixed with almost money that i have in my pocket but i purchase phones without warranty because they are significantly more cheaper then ones that I could purchase that came with warranty.

It should have came with a warrenty.. but I guess the e-bayer didn't send it.. (i hope its not stolen).

I have flashed my phone before, and that voids the warrenty straight away.

Looks like Ill just have to try another flash

(Yeah, this is the second time my phone has messed up.. last time it was the egg timer problem)

Thanks for all the suggestions.

check if ur charger was made in Thailand by DELTA, if it was then thats how your phone got killed, any1 else who has the t300 and t610 chargers made in Thailand by DELTA. DO NOT USE

phone sonyericsson and arrange a free charger exchange, they have recently discovered this,

sorry guys better not use them if yo want yo phone to survive

pleber what kind of flash did u do? firmware upgrade flashes are included in the warranty. sure you didn't do an unlock instead?

me have exact same problem here, can't switch it on.

but your service centre will know it's under warranty cos a) the phone ain't a year old yet b) the date is written in the back with the IMEI, which they'll use to reference it. You dinnae need a written warranty. Oh as long as it is from region where it was originally sold, can you check that?

Likely same problem will happen again i reckon so have opted for next day replacement insurance from now on...
