because camcoder records vids, and the zoom app would allow you to zoom into something on the viewfinder?

The Nokia 3650/7650 doesnt have a zoom function built in, but there is an addon program called "Photographer" that simulates a zoom (digital probably) (x 4), and also using cleaning filters, clean's the image up. I can tell you it is really good (and it is done in a seemless way-just point, zoom, click, wait a second, clear image).

There is no reason that the program cannot be brought to the P800.

maybe developers dont like P800

i see all kind of programs on the nokia 3650 and 7650 but a few on the P800

I dont say that P800 doesnt have any good programs but they are just limited...
And now that the P810 is coming out i believe that the P800 would be almost completely forgotten (I hope i'm wrong)
I mean we are STILL waiting for that camcoder application to come out almost 3 months now !!

@ruf9ii
maybe im missing something here.
i know that theres a zoom for pics that have already been taken. i am inquiring whether there is a feature of "zooming into" the image before taking a pic of it. if the P800 already has that, pls let me know where it is..

there are lots of Apps for P800 out there that you can't imagine, you'll just have to look for it.

hi everyone!!

yes u r right.. i was using a 3650 before and it seems there is a zoom application but now that i am with a P800 there don't seem to be any?!

but comparing the speed of photograph taking, the 3650 is faster compared to the P800 in my humblest opinion... and also the 3650 pics seems better... cheers!

so i guess there isnt' any zoom application 'round huh? oh well....

@microneo - I've already seen tons of USEFULL apps for the P800. The 7650 / 3650 may have more apps but they are not as usefull.

@netken - 3650 pictures may look better on the phone. but P800 pictures are better (provided you have an updated firmware) when transfered to the PC. The nokia phones are only better with regards to color blending in the phone screen.

In my opinion pictures in p800 su##s, even with updated firmware.

And I think Nokia has really useful apps. (even there's lots with no sense - like some p800 apps too)

Picture quality has nothing to do with updated fiirmware, I'm (still) on R2D and have seen pics from R2F, they look the same quality.

I have seen pics from my P800 and my brothers 3650, and also coworkers 7650's on my pc and I'd argue that the SE is the best quality, I noticed on Nokias you get "rounding" @ the edge of the image.

Back to the point though shoudn't it be fairly easy 2 port from 3650/7650 to P800?

Simon.
