Just found this Sony Ericsson Mobile Special Needs Center site which seems to confirm its accessories for the deaf.

Strange they don't mention it in the manual...

that's exactly what it is...TTY is a teletype device for folks that are hearing impaired

Its not really very funny at all and neither are you

TTY works alot like a modem, fax, or numeric choice menu when you call a business and press 1 for sales, 2 for service, etc.

The tones are coded and communication occurs in a textual format like instant messenger

you are pretty stupid and you seem to still have somewhat of a....limited existence....imagine if there were programs to help idiots like you. The world would be a lot better place and people might consider others' feelings before making a FUC*ED UP joke

I don't recall trying to be funny.

It's amazing how I make one simple little post and you instantly know so much about me. Yeah..my existance is terribly limited. I can't wait til they let me out of this cage :P I don't think they need programs to help 'idiots' like me.

Actually...When I read about 'phones for the deaf' my mind kind of switched back to that joke they made on Mr Bean about the flashing light for when a phone rang. People with a sense of humor would find that amusing. I don't believe I said anything that would have offended anyone directly, and if you read it that way then I suggest you get over it. Had it been my intent, I would have accepted what you said. Lighten up and don't take life so seriously. You'll probably enjoy it more. That's a good little program to help people like you.

this is starting to turn out like the RatGT problem a few weeks back where everyone were screwing each other so bad that it went from nokia 6108 to pigs, to rats, and all sorts of other crap.
