Did anyone try this with the new firmware? And what about personal ringtones, do they work with a Bluetooth-headset?

Regarding ringtones in the headset... I am pretty sure that that wouldn't work at all! the phone would have to stream the sound to the headset. Further more, when I connect to my headset from my computer, it rings. I would assume, and correct me if i am in errror, that the heaset has a default "I am being requested, shall i accept the connection" indicator programmed into it, which cannot be changed, and will always play when the hbh is queried.

Regarding voice tags being recorded from the hbh, It doesn't work, give up!! The phone will not keep the hbh connected for very long when there is not a call in progress.

And for the issue at hand, it seems that the phone just waits too long to connect to the hbh... I would say, give everyone a new ring tone, and let music do the talking.

The post regarding the delay in time when the headset actually answers could well explain why the name gets missed out. I am using SE HPR-20, the wired headphones with FM and there is obviously no problem with that. Havn't used the Bt models yet. But this is a valid point to consider before buying one i guess!

I have a P800 with both a SE HBH-60 and a Jabra BT200.

The names are always announced if I've recorded them.

I'll try my wife's T610 later today and let you know what I find out.

I don't have any of these items, but. . . . . . . How about leaving a pause at the start when recording the voice tag? This message was posted from a T300
