I sent mine in to GlobalMob for the conversion and firmware upgrade, they did a great job....Looks way better than the Blue!
Not to be rude, but that doesn't answer my question.
Well your in the USA,so I figured you might wanna send it to them because they are an official SE service point....You dont wanna void your warranty, and a friend of mine screwed up his Jog Dial changing it himself....

fijbert,
You have nothing to say. You have not read my original post: I did a search. You haven't helped.
Sorry to be so rude to you, but I posted a question to get an answer, and not to learn etiquette.

Well done "mcouper", there are too many egos on this forum.
Stay strong.....
By the way dones anyone know of a company in the UK that I can get the conversion done.
Not do it myself but let the pros do it, professionals that is.

Nobody bite my head off if this has been said already:
If you want the housing in Europe, why not buy from Shima?
He's pretty quick with shipping stuff out, methinks.
I, like some other people in this thread, didn't feel up to taking a chance in ruining the phone that cost so much to buy in the first place. So, I sent mine in to Adam at
www.gsmphonesource.com and I just got it back.
The mineral gray does look better, btw.

there are ways of getting round the warranty thing anyway, just put your blue casing back on! Now for me personally i will be fitting the casing my self coz then i know it done right plus i know none of my phone parts have been replaced for older or near knackered. That's just my opinion by the way, also thanks for the address will check them soon as poss

they have clever little stickers on the indside which tear when you open the p800 this is what gives away if you have opened your p800 or not. I excpected inteligence to be at a common level on this forum. I'm dissapointed.

You are funny.
But it seems to me that you have a lot of time to waste. I noticed a lot of your posts are just about waiting for anyone to make a mistake, so you could just sandblast his ass! Woohoo! Now you're the smartest!
This is just a mobile phone forum, and not "American Idol". I do admit that some of your replies are funny as shit.
Finally, I really don't want to enter a pissing contest with you. I have lots of friends and enemies already in life, and I don't need backups in cyber-life. And yes I didn't think of switching to Mineral Gray would void the warranty.
