If production has stopped does this mean that maybe it will become a collectors item because of its classic design, and those of us who still have one might have a colletors item in the future thats worth a bit.

no point comparing t68i with nokia's 3310, the more comparable unit i would believe is the nokia's 7210. going back to the topic, i believe the se t68i have made a mark in the cellular industry, i have purchased one 2 yrs ago and i still consider it to be my favorite mobilephone even though i have a t610, it has such a classic design thats comfortable to the hands and cool blue keypad lights that go together with its striking features like infrared and bluetooth, which still up to now is not found in other brand of mobilephone. for sure i would be keeping my t68i as a collectors item. its one great phone, and it would surely be missed.

Let me put it this way:
No other straightforward phone has had this amazing succes as the Nokia 3310. The phone is well designed and as a product is very well put into the market. It has set a new standard. The youth-culture of exchangeable face-plates it created is unique.

For the record and to make sure that you get my point, which I am afraid you do not want to: though I have much respect for it, I really DISLIKE the 3310. But that is mostly because "everybody" has one and because I am at the far other end of the target group on the market, it is just not a phone for me.
