i used the P800 as a modem due to the fact that i have just moved into a new house and do not have a internet connection yet, so i thought i would try it...

well, the bluetooth distance is rather short as we have concrete walls etc. so its about 6 - 7m....

i posted this thread because i was amazed at how "multi-taskable" the P800 and it didnt slow the Phone down that much....

To Avatar235: Very funny

I completely agree with Vermania as I do same as him.

I also cut the volume from the tv (while ads), Hit the 'refresh' from bemused (lovely bemused) and check what I've just downloaded from internet.

Bemused is probably one of the nicer applications for the P800 ->

VERY handy!

I have a rather roundabout p800-controlled sound setup that allows me 800m of range... i connect my wireless speakers to my hi-fi. the hi-fi is fed from my playlist on winamp. my PC is running VNC. the gateway PC on my network is also running VNC. i open up a small VNC window on the gateway-- just as large as a P800 screen, centred on the winamp play controls. i set VNC to download active window only. i then get the IP adress of my computer and connect via GPRS to the PC. i can then wander anywhere i want within 800m of the stereo.. and i have got perfect sound, all controlled by my p800
