im not going to say i dont like the p800 but ... for all i heard in this thread im better off with the t610
in fact i can really afford it now !!! because i was saving for my p800 and i was half way there but... now

I have the T68, a fabulous phone
and I got the p800, it's decent enough. I have my casio exilim if I want decent pictures. If I want anything better, I just get out my nikon slr. Anyway, I got the p800 because it had all those features and it's alright. Nothing to brag about, but it's the best of it's kind.
I will be getting the p900 when it comes out. The p800 is a little big and stuff and I use the T610 when I go out with me friends, or whatever. It's smaller, easier to use and all that.
all in all, i like equipment like this, and i will be getting the p900, i think it looks sweet, hopefully, people at
actually do some work on making it better than what's already advertised.

And my next phone will be a "3g"-phone when they will be smaller (And yes I know P800 is big
) and better and u can have a "non contract-card" (kontantkort swedish).
So i will buy a 3g-phone after a year or 2 instead of P900...

Or my feeling that the changes from P800 to P900 are not big enough to really matter and warrant replacing my P800 with a P900.

And saying that the t610 is better is at best a bad way of saying that you don't need all the functions of the p800. And yes, the p900 is only an upgraded p800. There is not much new stuff. And yes, as a pda the ipaq is better. But it can't connect to the internet by itself. It's a trade-off really. It is possible to get a better phone and a better pda. But then you'd have to carry 2 devices. And compared to the p800 the ipaq is quite a porker and in my opinion it exceeds pocket size limits.. It may be worth it. But for me there's little to gain from it since I hardly use the pda functions like reading word and excel documents and stuff like that. I just watch futurama, play monkey island, listen to oggs, play doom, send mms( and it's worth mentioning that NO other phone comes CLOSE to the p800 in this area.) Check for e-mails occasionally. So all in all.. The p800 RULES

If you read my post again you will see that the mention of big was related to the device as a phone - not as a pda. I also said many times that the P800/900 is the best of its kind - and I reckognize its qualitys which is the exact reason I bought one in the first place. The idea of having an all in one handy device is great - but I also reckognize its limitations and tried to point them out in my post. These limitations are the reason why I feel the P800/900 is not perfect, some of these limitations has been met in the P900, the P900 is more handy and the software is apparently faster (not sure yet how much though), but the rest remains and are the main reason I dont think an upgrade is worth it.
Its still limited by expensive hard to come by memorysticks with limited space, which kills the idea of a multidevice entirely.

SE DEFFINATELY f**ked up with the Duo, if they MUST use a new format in a phone, then thats up to them, but to make the availabillity of the larger capacity sticks SO limited was almost criminal & at the absolute minimum it was bad management.
I'm now sure that it was arguements between Sony & Ericsson over the Duo format that originally held up the release of the P800.
