what version of firmware you have in your t610? R1L or R3C? If you still have R1L, update your phone to R3C and take one more picture

T610 is a great phone,,

but there are 2 things that i didnt expect to get from it

- poor quality photos

- very short life battery, though it was written in the flyer that it lasts up to 14hrs talking !

sometimes i feel that i was cheated by this phone

did you try the 7250? You may well find more things you don't like. every phone will have its good points and bad points and if you only found 2 things that you are not happy with then you did well!

or is the glass half empty?

got ur point bro...

but it's totally different when you go to the dealer, ask him for the specs, go to SE website, check on the specs,, buy the phone AND FIND OUT THAT THE PHONE IS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT YOU READ ABOUT IT, ESPECIALLY WHEN GETTING THE WRONG INFO FROM THE MANUFACTURER OR THE DEALER...

do they think that we are idiots !! i mean even when i went back to the dealer & told him my story,, he said dont beleive what is written in the brouchore/flyer !!!

if i the info written there is wrong, then why do you distribute it !!! and who am i going to beleive ???

sorry for getting out of main subject

For those that want a digital camera to use for every day snapshots, take my advice and just get yourself a dedicated digicam. Even the cheapest of 1MP cameras will out-perform any phone camera, and most of them fit nicely in your pocket.

The camera on the T610 is substandard compared to other models/brands but these things are not designed to be a useful digital camera as such. They're really just a selling point for the phone and a handy little tool if you ever need to MMS someone with a quick snapshot. If SE wanted it be any more than that they would have stuck at least a 640×480 chip in the phone and given us more memory to fill. (Which they can have no excuse for not doing imo as camera chips and solid state memory are so cheap right now.)
