Yeah, it works much better on a mouse pad with a pattern/picture.

I suppose it's a matter of personal preference, but Logitech has always provided the most stable, reliable, well designed hardware. You look at a microsoft mouse and you think - "which hole did this climb out of?!" The logitech looks great, rests perfectly in the hand..., like I said, the best mouse I've ever used. (We use Microsoft wireless at work)

I also use logitech cordless mouse and keyboard, not sure what model but the mouse has a red light at the bottom.

Its much better than the MS ones I have used but the only problem I seem to get is when a call comes in the signal interferes with the mouse and keyboard so I either don't get characters or mouse movements on screen, or I get alot of them!

This means I cannot talk on the phone and use the mouse and keyboard unless I angle myself in such a way that the phone signal stops the interference!

I use

Logitech® Cordless Desktop® MX

I have the keyboard in secure mode. Have used the phone many times while working with PC, havn't had any problems yet...

Microsoft should have made the wireless explorer with cord...no logitech fits like that in your hand. All wireless are 2 slow for gaming, so i have a MS cordless desktop+explorer V3 connected This message was posted from a T610

A cordless mouse is very nice. And I like the Logitech ones a lot, I'm using a Cordless Mouseman Wheel. But I don't get the point with a cordless keyboard, How often do people move their keyboards (I never do that)? Then you have to change battery in the keyboard from time to time. And if you have keyboard troubles you can't really tell if it's the computer that is the problem or the wireless connection.

It's harder then you think to find a decent multimedia keyboard with a cord, I've tried found only Microsoft, and definetly not decent...
I must admit, it's pretty nice having a cordless keyboard as well. Can just pick it up and move it with no hassle.
