how much would you charge for the CAR-100 and the HBM-30, if I wanted them delivered to the UK?

jrmi, the Z600 is basically just a T610 with a slightly better screen (same res, but easier to view in sunlight...no it's NOT transreflective) so for me, the additional bulk over the T610 is NOT justified.

Don't get me wrong, the Z600 is NOT ugly... nor do I dislike it. I actually was surprised at how nice it felt in my hand... but like the P800, it feels like crap inside your pocket... it's way too fat.

The CAR 100 does NOT work with the P800 as of the time I tried it the other day... they can be paired with each other... but the P800 has no joystick to control it! I tried the jog-dial, but it just scrolls through the menu of my phone

The CAR-100 is neat... you can use it around your house.. just don't let it run too far away otherwise it will just keep driving along when it's out of range. It's more fun on your desk, or around a small room floor... it's a gadget freak's version of those little Tamiya Racing cars. I'm estimating the cost to be about the same as a normal BT headset. So don't expect it to be dirt cheap.

Between the T610, and Z600... I would go for the T610 since I'm not fond of clam-shell phones in general. But the Z600 has a great design if you like clams... and the buttons feel really good... kinda flat, but they feel solid. And the 'flipping' action of the Z600 is great too... it snaps into place so it has 2 positions that can't be altered. The camera is just like the T610's as well. But it does have a small (very small) digital clock on the cover. Useful since this is a clam, but not very well designed into the cover flip IMO.

@jplacson

Something has to give. In this case its either you sacrifice the thickness or the height of the phone. In SE case they choose to "sacrifice" the depth of the phone to make the Z600 smaller.

Its not like those Motorola or Samsung phones that have external antenna thats both irritating and uncomfortable in the pockets.

Its not like those Samsung phones that just place the camera on top of the flip just to put it there and call it a camera phone.

SE have made this phone with a lot of thinking into it and have considered the design.

If you consider the Z600 as a T610 in another form or design, and that you dont think its depth is justified, then i respect your opinion. But i wouldnt think SE would go on to all the trouble in manufacturing this phone if it was the same as the previous. There is always something new to offer besides the design, and that, i think is up to be discovered by the persons who will probably purchase the Z600. Wether it is just another T610 or does the phone have its own characteristics.

@jrmi

Why would every phone have to have different specifications?
I think it is normal to offer a candy-bar phone and clamshell phone with the same technical specifications. I wouldn't know why phones always have to be 'better' and 'improved' and with 'more specs' when they come onto the market half a year later than another one.

Both T610 and Z600 fill a nice niche of the phone-market.
