What i do to get my video's playing well is!
1. Use PVrecorder to encode my movies.
2. Store them only on the MS DUO.
3. Keep at least 4mb free internally, storage wise.
4. Use SMAN to flush all tasks, and try to get SMAN free memory up to 7mb.
4a. If you can't seem to free up much memory, how much memory is the PHONE App using, if its 800k or more switch off the phone and back on again. I've noted that the PHONE App uses less memory after a power on. Seems to grab resources when the app is used (making phone calls) but then never releases it!
5. Use the cracked camcorder App to watch the movies widescreen, its worth a couple of frames a second. Don't know why but it works better in Widescreen than the main video app.
6. Accept that large movies, i've got the lion king 98mb or Matrix 109mb these don't play well in widescreen, even in the cracked camcorder app, there is lag in playback, but its find in the small window!
Finally my own little nugget to the conversation. When the hell is someone going to develop a flip closed video player? Would be ideal for viewing on the train etc. Use the keypad to pause etc. That way folk would just think your a weird phone fetishist stairing at the phone, rather than showing off watching movies and just waiting for a mugging!

@SonySandy
Thank's for your good reply. I'll try the things you suggested.
And you're right about the flip closed thing, it was the first thing I thought about when I first watched a movie clip on the P800.
And NIXIN, I just don't care about him. His not enoying me couse I don't even care about reading the stuff hi's writing.
Thanks for the good tips Sandy !
