Will CPW do upgrades even if you didn't buy your phone there?

Yes Kafka, thats right the right one is Welford Road in Leicester. I didnt know there was one in Beaumont Leys... well dotn go round there.. no need to so...!!!

I think ill gve them a call in a bit to see what they have at the moment. I certainly hope that they can do it for me as I didnt buy the phone from them

They do it for free even if you didn't buy it from them. They get paid to do it from Ericsson. This post was posted from a WAP device

I've just spoken to somebody at Carphone Warehouse Service centre in Leicester, he said that the upgrade is due in about 2 weeks & the phone will have to be sent off. He was unsure about orange users as they rewrite the software, but it's best to spk to somebody intelligent at orange. It is very likely though that Orange will upgrade the software at some point for MMS facilities.

I'm going to call them sometime this week to see if they know when MMS is available and if they will do the upgrade or send the phones to Ericsson to get it done.
