A shame, a great shame that it's the least powerful device that limits the distance.

An example; there aren't any phones or BT headsets I know of with greater than 10m range. This means you can't walk around the house wirelessly making a VoIP phone call.

It's a shame that the power isn't supplied by the base unit.

Also, what about ac-hoc networks? Can this be used to increase the range of a 10m class2 device?
