While the Z1010 is a great DualMode phone from S.E., I feel the design could use abit of improvement. Looks rather outdated by today's official release standards. More curves would give it a better look.

Having seen the real thing, like the photos above, it's really small next to a Nokia Series 60, but for a clamshell, it's rather daunting to be carrying something of that size in the pockets.

I'll probably give this a miss and wait for their next offering.

Hi, Sanjee.

Nope, it's really not that bad. A very good attempt for a dualmode model.

It's just doesn't appeal to me personally. Between the 2 clamshells, I'd go for the Z600 design over the Z1010.

To tell you the truth guys, I was a bit shocked by the size of it, as I never red anywhere about its measures and just judged by its early pictures on how big it would be. I was expecting it to be, in worst case, the width and thickness of T610, and its length at least 1cm smaller than it is now. I know that this might be sounding a bit exaggerating when talking about a mobile with such advanced features, but the pictures that I had seen so far really fooled me! They make it seem much, MUCH smaller...

Don't get me wrong - I will still get it! My only problem with my beauty, the T610, is its memory limitations, just like any other mobile on the market (And when I say mobile, I don't include the bigger smart-phones, such as P800). 2MB seemed OK the first days. Now this is my only problem...

The Z1010's Memory Stick capability is just the perfect solution to my problem! (And of course I also appreciate other features such as its video capabilities, but they are for me of less importance).

So, although I was surprised about its size, I'm still waiting anxiously for it!

Hale SonyEricsson!!!

PS. You know though what would make it for me the perfect and irreplaceable mobile, for a long time ahead? If it had a bit higher pixel resolution (About 1.3 megapixels) and an embodied camera-flash! Just to make it more of a camera. But then, even the bigger and newer P900 didn't have any of those to features, so I guess I'm asking for to much right now and have to wait 'a bit' more for the next SonyEricsson wonder...

Hi, ratGT.

Nice additions suggested. Actually, i'm sure adding those features are not a problem.

The biggest headache allowing makers to add sure rich features, would be the battery. Currently, even the touted Li-polymer batts are having problems giving new handsets longer standby and usage performance.
