This guy is good. Today i actually got a mail from
service@ups.com wich stated that the package was sent and 'We inform you that we are in the posesion of one Sony Ericsson P900 mobile phone, and we will shipp them to you once we will have the shipper confirmation.'
Aahahah! Notice all the bad spelling. This guy is actually funny!
Also, got this mail from him:
I saw that link
"esato" is my nick name got nothing to do with
www.esato.com
is kind of wierd ... don`t know what to say...
but as you can saw i respect my part of the deal and deposit the package...
i`ve also cancelled the auction for saving me for other problems.i have enough interested buyers and i`ll sell the phones one by one.... so, now is your time to respect your part of the deal.
go to your nearest westernunion office and wire the money to:
marculescu marian
verguleasa
olt
0500
romania
confirm me the transfer and the package will be on the way.
hope to finalise this deal

And he deleted his ebay auctions just in time :

Could be a con.. asked the chap to send pictures of his P900 stock, instead he provided me pictures of Nokia phones in stock. I'm pretty skeptic about it.. if you do get your P900 purchase delivered - I'd like to see pictures of it.

Ehehe. Of course this guy is a scam and a big one too. Just look at the e-mail, and all the spelling errors in the UPS mail, using an alias to get that
service@ups.com mail or maybe own e-mail server. Anyhow, he is trying hard to scam.

It is a scam - I watched a number of auctions for the P900, having almost fallen for the first one:
- look at the location for the seller - never in Romania
- telephone (once provided) is ALWAYS a Romanian dialling code (even when the stated location is UK!)
- No original photos
- Very bad spelling (not just typos)
- "Always contact me before bidding" - pre-approved bidders only!!
- Payment options are usually moneyy first (ie no PayPal) etc when the history of the seller appears to show use of the service in the past
- Inconsistent selling history - look at their previous sells which DO NOT include phones let alone electronics of any kind; one was selling preserves in the US!!

I send about 3 / 4 emails a week to eBay about these fraudsters. I have also informed the ligit account holders who were not aware that their accounts had been hi-jacked. Please help me and others that may lose money by falling for the scam by informing eBay. These people may decide, lets hope, that P900s etc are not worth using for scams as they will get reported.
