Does it work with Norton turned on?
I've been having problems connecting the phone with the Anti-virus turned on. Have to turn it off before connecting.

Has anyone tried this in the new version?

Yes, the sync works with Norton AV turned on. Backups are much faster and reliable. I have completed 3 with no failures. This is definitely a more robust version. They need to dress up the interface and convert to true USB.

I installed the P900 suit and made a backup copy of the Phones memory, but the size of the image was 14234 KB where the size of data in the phones memory is 9.11 MB
Whats going on guys

@BVH
Yeh m8, I agree.
It's virtually identical, both in layout, and functions, to the syncing software that came with my Psion Revo, and that came out years ago!

The sync software still doesn't transfer birthdays and annual events. I can enter an appt with yearly repeat on the phone, why doesn't the sync software allow it? Odd.

I've installed the new PC Suite for my P800.
I also use Norton Antivirus and Office 2003.
No Problems, so far.

One thing fixed I've found from previous version is that when synchonising from outlook, it does it without the "Something is trying to use Outlook" bit that you previously had to select a time to allow it to connect for. It just synchonises now with no other interuptions.

Done a backup and ok too.

Just tried it again and it's back to it's old way of asking access.

Strange. Worked once only. Don't know why.

Just tried it with Outlook running and closed down and it still asks for access again.

Sorry about that. Thought they had fixed it.

I'll try again when I get my P900 from Expansys.
