The bits I remembered are:
1. Price. Between $500 and $700. Similar to the P800.
2. Major upgrade in installed s/w is for corprates. The P900 has, for example, a VPN client to enable secure access to corprate email systems.
3. The P800, in some markets, has a market share as high as 90%
4. There is a lot of interest from European and Asian networks for the P900. About 2 USA networks have shown interest.
5. As stated above, USA release Q1 2004.
6. The P900, as for the P800, is differentiated from other Smartphones in that its pedigree is mobile phone technology not PDA technology

Note at the start of the interview the guy asks basically what’s diff from the P800 to P900.. And the SE guy just went over features the original P800 had .. While he shows some screen flips and jog dial ... is this really an upgrade? Or is it a nokia 3310 to 3330 tactic?
For anyone who don’t know about the Nokia 3310 to 3330 joke.. they sold the 3310 and then they bought out the 3330 with only moving screen saver (instead of the 3310’s none moving ones) and added wap .. they then charged £50 more and called it a new phone .. cough Fu**ing COUGH ..
(Please do not flame me

Wow... he mentioned great 3D engine for the P900. Now it may really be that the 2nd processor is there for this and multimedia purposes. Hope mophun 3D will be out in not time to show off this capability:-)

Interesting video, but I would agree that basically it tells us nothing we don't already know. What was particularly interesting though, was that one gets the impression that SE themselves realise that the P900 is basically a redesigned P800, they would really be better calling it the P810 or something like that.
Its a nice phone and admittedly, like others on here, I am impressed by how small it looked in the chap's hands and how good the screen resolution appeared, even in the glare of what was obviously bright sunlight (not really a problem here in the UK!).
I had decided to upgrade to the P900 immediately, but to be quite honest with you I don't think I will. My contract on the P800 isn't up until next year and to be quite frank by that time it won't be long before the P900's successor is coming out, so I will probably just wait for that.
Still, it is nice.

I appreciate what you are saying "Scout", but I myself was thinking the same, when I realized that with that rationale we would buy nothing, just keep on waiting and waiting.
Anyway, very valid comments regarding the possible name.

No problem, but I must ask or else I won't be able to die a happy man, why are you calling me 'Scout'?
