well i wouldn't say the comparison is good vs bad, like some of you have mentioned (mercedes vs lada)

it's more of a apples to oranges thing.

the p900 is a smartphone, and the 6600 is a phone with some data capabilities. so to stay on the car-level, it would be like comparing a mercedes to a pickup truck. you can't haul your winter's supply of firewood with a mercedes, and you can't cruise at 350MHp with the pickup.

i'd take the pickup, though ...

mores, that's not quite accurate either since the P900 can do anything the 6600 can do...but not vice versa.

Like you said, the 6600 is a phone with SOME data capabilities... but the P900 is a hybrid... phone functionality is not compromised in any way. So it IS like comparing a McLaren F1 to a Ford Focus.

Nokia is not a crappy phone company... they just make basic phones...that look cute...period. Nothing wrong with that. (Other than their abnormally high prices)

So to continue to analogy, the Nokia may be like the Mercedes, but the P900 is a truck with all the handling, power and cruising speed of the Mercedes. Are we getting any closer?

Athlon64 FX vs. Pentium 4...

The P900 being the Athlon FX. Can do anything the P4 can and faster, but also has 64 bits for much higher capabilities.
