One warning about doing a Phone Backup with XTND:
XTND syncs the phones. OK. But if you erase a contact in the phone and you sync again, it will erase that contact in Outlook (you can configure to ask).
So, if you do a Master Reset and you sync, XTND may think you want to erase all your contacts.
So... it's easy to solve this. If you know that something is wrong with Outlook or your Phone (eg: a Master Reset), before you sync, enter "configuration" (in XTND) and tell it to do "Force Full Synchronization". Then, when asked, tell it to override the Outlook/Phone events/contacts (as desired).
If you are not sure about suceeding, make a backup of the "Contacts" outlook folder first... he he...
One thing that is not backed up with that is the Ringtone assignation, and the pictures assignation. So if I assign a lot of ringtones and images to my contacts, and I do a Master Reset (or update firmware) I will loose it all
. I have not tried Chrsitersson backup, but I don't think it does, as it was firstly created for T68i. Maybe the next version, with full T610 support...

I think the 'Send All' contacts includes the images that are attached to the contact names. So when you send it to your T610, it will still have the image, not sure about the tones.

One tip I would recommend to anyone using outlook sync solutions is to backup your outlook .PST files regularly even if you don't regularly backup your pc.
Just making a copy of the .PST files to another folder once every week or two may save you lots of grief if something goes wrong because you can easily recover by copying them back to their original location.
If you don't know where the .PST files are that you are using then just do a windows search for *.pst
Doing this has certainly saved me a few times...

I tried to "Send All" via bluetooth like kieboy suggested. Transferring went ok, and my PC showed "receiving contacts.vcf" or something like that but I couldn't find that file anywhere in my PC after the transfer. So now I still couldn't backup my phonebook (I don't have outlook).
PhoneBackup doesn't seem to work for some reason. Are there any other ways to backup my phonebook?

@novell when i transfer my contacts to my pc it saves it as "whole phonebook". so just do a search for that--windows key + "f" or start - search - files or folders. you can do this (back up and send contacts) without using any programs by the way.

I searched *phonebook*.* and none came up except for a .dll file. Where does your "whole phonebook" file saved, and under what extension?
