> P900 in the Philippines?
Bookmark topic
I saw the z600 on display in a cell phone shop in Park Square (near Datablitz) along with the T230? Check it out for yourselves. Still no sign of the P900.
Last week I told you guys that the N6600 was 25k to 27k in greenhills.
Now that Semicon already has the phone selling at roughly the same price. The 6600 is already selling for 15K?!!? in unauthorized dealers... did I hear them right? Grabe naman bumaba presyo ng Nokia phones.

@rizen,
I think the problem in Canada and the US is most phones are only available as part of a contract with a phone company, and not many cellular operators are offering Sony Ericsson over there. That's why even the P800 is a rare bird in North America. In the Philippines, all cellular operators offer P800 as one of the phones available with the high end plans and you can also buy unlocked phones independently directly from legit dealers (not necessarily under the table!!). I prefer unlocked phones myself because I switch sims from time to time. Anyway if you're really deadset on a P900 you can buy one over the Internet.
A brand new P800 here is about P30K, used ones go for P25K or less.
That N6600 is starting to look real purty at the low prices though (P24,000)

And the N6600 is already selling for 15k in the grey market just because the new 6220 EDGE (useless?) phone is out.

EDGE my foot! GPRS may be decent...but coverage is far from good! If Globe & Smart push for EDGE with GPRS rates... wow! Hahahaha... I wonder how many people actually use GPRS since they started charging P0.25/KB
Unless they can compete against WiFi rates, EDGE may not take off... it'll be WAP all over again.
One thing though... if they do lower EDGE rates... it will blow WiFi away since you don't need to sit still and be near one of our very few hotspots (Ayala malls, airport, and select Seattle's Best & Starbucks)
