yeah but that takes up the slot. I prefer to keep my 512mb SD card full of music in there!
I was very tempted by the original XDA and this one certainly is being well received by the PDA forums I visit

Hope they have enhanced the telephony part, because XDA1 was a real sh... : very bad phone signal, 30% of OS crash when online, very frequent OS freeze w/o something to tell you that you could not received calls anymore...
You won't believe how far XDA & phone edition are from my new P800 & Symbian7..
Have fun with a so called phone edition...
PS: i remember to have give it back and used my old Nok6210 instead... at least phone was working on it.

For me one of the main reasons I am looking to go the XDA2 way, is because of the 512Mb cards.
I wish SE would just sort this 12Mb problem out, if you look on this board for any length of time you will start to see a pattern. People what larger Memory sticks.
512Mb SD just a little more expensive or on some sites cheaper then a 128Mb Memory stick.
SE SORT IT OUT...

When i had my ipaq 3970 i found the apps a bit of a rip off,& far to "conrolled" compaired to symbian, however a bettter serious "tool" than a P8.
After reading the spec, i will now consider the XDA2, although getting an "unlocked" one could be a problem & the real down side is always the lack of a "jog dial" (sounds silly but thats the most important part of a P8/P9, it makes it USER FRIENDLY)
However, i WILL test/try one with an open mind.

Don't put yourself down like that mate, i'm sure not EVERYONE thinks going to a O2 shop is that stupid, even if the contract you buy at an o2 shop DOES charge a minimum charge per call, when on the same tariff at CPW you DON'T get charged a minimum !!!
o2 shops use an airtime provider that is a complete stitch, compaired to o2 contracts at CPW.
Enjoy your new phone its a free world

I agree regarding the call quality of the XDA I. Also the form factor of the XDA II seems odd for a Smartphone; I think it would look silly holding such a wide device to one's ear. However, a BT headset could fix that. My only other concern would be the quality of the OS. I hope the MS Pocket OS is better than the PC OSs MS make! I have also heard that the SIM free XDA II is about $150 more expensive than the P900 (in the USA, can't say what the difference would be in the UK).
