Yup i agree that where i live (uk&greece) i see SE phones everywhere, and the only phones that i see more of are nokias. But we must not forget that SE only has large marketshare in Europe. Outside Europe SE phones are much more of a rare site.

@ thanasis
That is very much true, with SE mobile phone not much being of a presence in Asia.
Thats why when some of the latest phones and accessories of SE shows up here in the asian market, they do sell fast because if your not able to purchased the item you intended to buy, you would have to wait and see if the retailers would still order them.

Hey, hey, hey!!! The T610 I must say has strike quite an impact in Singapore... there are more T610s I see around each corner I go. Though Nokia still reign supreme in exploding phones, the sightings of SE T610 are remarkably higher than T68/i in its hey days.
What about the T100? It was such a phenomenon in Hong Kong that it broke Nokia's 8310 long standing record of no. of handsets sold...
P800? No competition, sorry, in this class. No one has met its mark yet...

@ Guys,
I believe all these categorization of the top 5 is mostly based on shipment volume. They don't bother the actual demand. For instance, Nokia can ship a 8XXX model say 100,000 set but in fact, the demand for it just only 15,000 set. Therefore the balance, local authority will sell it damn low margin price just to get rid of the stock... which often the local retailer are the one that suffers. Why? Again, the demand not equals to the supply... It is over supply. If someone (big 5) do an audit on Nokia, I believe they are losing out their profits... Even though they still claim they are making profits but the profits are very minimal compared with the projected profits on the 100,000 set.. which initially the Operation costs outdo the ptrofits gain... This same applies to the rest of handphone manufacturers. I believe, SE is playing on the safe side which is supplying according to the demand instead over supply as it will eat in their Operation cost. On the other hand, the national council for handphone maker should evaluate the measurement of being the top 5 using DD=SS instead of shipment.

In Africa, one of the fastest growing markets, all one sees are Nokias. SEs are rare, you will see more Ericssons than SEs. That is why I still stand out and shine with my T610

. SE need to market themselves more aggressively outside Europe becaue they have really great phones, better than that Finnish company which are more affordable.

Don't worry, the T650 will come and sell more than all of Nokia's phones together. Ain't that right, t610 owner?

I just can't believe my eyes !!! Here in Manila, it is very evident that NOKIA rules, however, I just cannot accept the 'fact' that the performance of Motorola and LG reigns supreme over that of Ericsson's on a global performance sales !!! Absolutely without any doubt that Ericsson comes only second to Nokia when it comes to sales in Manila with Samsung catching up on the third spot. I just hope that SE can make some improvements on their fones in the 'VERY' near future.
