If you can wait 6 month (if this is correct) for the next version then you might as well wait another 6 month for the version after that.
But then again you might just want to wait another 5-6 versions. I promise you in 5-6 new version we will laugh about the P900.
I mean people who decided not to buy a 8086 PC 1980 but waited and bought a P4 PC will probably tell you that it was worth the wait.

Err..it all seems to make sense. The next SE Pxxxx will have tablet form factor and will have games capabilities and WiFi. I think we talking about convergence of Smartphone, Clie and PSP!
Look at this - a PSP. I looks like a better Motorola A920. See the reference to "phone capabilities" and WiFi.

ooops...sorry, here it is;
@hrcs, The decision of what I buy is mostly based on what I need. When I bought my T68i, I needed a phone with Bluetooth so I can connect wirelessly with my PDA. Likewise, when I bought my P800, I needed a phone that had PDA function and phone in one package. On the other hand, if you decide to buy a phone just because it is the latest, I suppose you will end up buying a new phone most of the time and you will never be satisfied with what you have because there is always a new one with the latest feature that will be launch next month or next year. If you need a P900 now, I humbly suggest, buy it now.

Do like me... wait for the real new P-serie, only 6 mouth and the P900 will completly be obsoled!
A P900 is just a facelift of the P800 with some new features.
I really hope the P?1000 will be more then that and will bring SE back to the top where he has to be!
