Where did you get the update???
I live in Frederiksberg, Denmark... have a T68 ... got the R2a update, but would like the newer firmware installed A.S.A.P.!!!!
Been waiting for MMS since i heard... and was told it would be available soon. Can't wait... but I do still love the phone as it is now.
Got my T68 mid December last year and it has been a joy ever since. Too bad the screen seems to scratch up a bit.
Also, I guess I can live without Tetris for all the added features.
Funny how this is really 'just' a software update. NICE!!!
Hope you can help...
Sincerely,
Gnuig
P.S. This is my first post here
There is no upgrade available for T68m yet! You can upgrade it to R2B but thats the newest. Around W20 the new MMS SW is told to be released by

Its the new T9 with "pop-up" suggestion - that some "beta-testers" are speaking about. Its available in the new SW version for T68i.

Yes I got the R2B-025 for my T68i today
Works very nice indeed.
And yes the eZi-text is neat and also faster than R2A-014 (orig.T68i).
There used to be a little delay (the Hour-glass) when entering MESSAGES-menu,..that delay isnt there anymore,..its faster now !

There is a new customizable selection for message alerts?
Or it is the same shame...
T68i R2A014
There's no change at all for the message alert. Same low sound as before.
Changes are:
- Popupmenu for T9 (it aint very good, just annoying!)
- Higher ringing volume for maximum
- Bug fix, not having the same ringing volume between 3-5 anymore
There's is
no faster menus or T9 that someone here earlier stated though, for sure! There's also no fix for the ringing tone "distortion" when an utility is connected (like a headset).

Well, mine is surely faster. And its actually pretty obvious too :
Reason : The processor-power has been diverted towards menues, instead of constantly updating screen.
So there is an improvement in speed, and also the fact that when going into the sms-menu-part, you no longer have the "hour-glass" symbols,..it immidiatly goes to the menu..so theres clearly a "time-difference" here.
I dont hold the world record in fast sms-typing, but even I can write fast with eZi-text,..its a lot easier. But this of course all depends on what you like

I like it !

CyberVisitor: I have no problem with the maximum volume of the ring tone. On my t68i (r2a014) there is a difference in volume between
3-6. Is anyone else having this problem? Maybe it depends on what melody or signal you choose.
jh67: This is confusing, some say there is no difference in speed whatsoever and some say both t9 (and not only because of eZi) and the menus are faster. But I hope you are right, I would really like my phone to be a bit faster. How long time does it take to do the upgrade?

And please tell us if you notice any difference in stand by. If the phone doesn't work as much, the battery should last longer, right?
