Just wanted to say that I have the same thing on my P800.....You can only see it in some wierd angels and some half-dark light.

As I sayd in my post Mine has too (P900) and my p800 had it so do have all the P900 ever made.
If it is a dot that illuminates differently than the other colors eg: you need a black screen and you have a little green got in it than you have a dead pixel

Those dots are on all equipment that have touch sensitive screens. It is basically a grid which allows the processor to detect where the screen is being touched.
They act as screens within a screen so you will have 4 dots that represent a square and within that square you will have a certain amount of pixels, say 10 x 10. When you press on the screen the processor knows immediately it is square 13,5:8,3 for example (from top left to bottom right...13th square down, 5th across, and within that square 8th pixel down, 3rd across). Having this grid means more accurate detail in handwriting and gridpoint recognition...it occasionally requires recalibration.
Anyway, thats what those "dimples" are.

I think you have not taken off the protective plastic sheet from the phone.
Mine had little dots on it but after about a month I noticed that you can remove it without invalidating the warranty.
