I think its jolly good fun actually. I don't see why people moan about such things. If you don't like it don't do it. If you do then, well do! Easy as that.
Right now that that's sorted I need to go and solve that pesky world hunger problem.

In my humble opinion, the whole idea of having a bluejacking 'event' seems a bit bizarre.

What are people going to do, stand around in a big crowd waiting for potential victims to walk past? Surely that would arouse suspicion in itself.

just people getting carried away with it all. i know - its all a bit of fun....and what is life without fun. i mean trying to arrange a meeting to 'bluejack people' is a touch on the weird side. do people not have anything better to do with their weekends?? i certainly do!

Arrange the meet in a pub, you might get more people to turn up :-) This message was posted from a T610

To be perfectly honest I think its quite a good idea, I'm only sorry I can't get to London this weekend. Admittedly its not somehting I would indulge in every weekend, but once in a while is fine.
People used to think it a atd sad to congregate around a television in a crowd to watch something (before anyone moans, I read this in a copy of the Times dates in the fifties).
I think that mobile phones are opening up new social situations and events. Some may think it sad, then again lots of people probably think it sad that we are posting to a message forum about mobile phones.
On the subject of killing time, I do have quite a busy schedule, but I always make sure I pencil in at least a couple of hours each week for fun.

Crime must be down in the UK (LOL).... Try driving down in the direction of a couple neighborhood subways in my city and you're more likely to get car-jacked before you can bluejack.

What are you guys tossing into those bluejacked victims by the way? I inadvertantly did that to a couple units in a shopping mall nearby. However, I'm not sure people here would have recognized they were victims of a jacking being that they still yet have come to understand the concept of BT technology at all.

I don't disagree with the concept of Esato users having a meeting - I think that could be a worthwhile event.

However, tagging it as a bluejacking event and making that the purpose of the day seems - well - a little silly to be honest.
