This is he 3rd P900 I have had.

P900 # 1 was great , no noise but siftware was messup.
P900 # 2 Everywhere I touch made horrrible noise like it was about to crack
P900 # 3 Only on the left site. Im planning to opn mine up , paint it completely black (get rid of the orange sign) and re-assemble it . probably solve the crackling

I had the same problem. Just got my P900 replaced and the new one is perfect (so far).

My P900 makes some squeaking noise too! How did you replace your P900? Just go to your dealer and ask for a replacement? By the way I'm from Sweden and bought my phone here.

hello? why don't sE actually read this forum and actually do something about all these faults? the p800 was bad enough, but with a new model comes MORE new faults. and they haven't even fixed the ones from the p800! maybe they'll get it sorted by the p9000 (or judging by current performance, maybe not)

I solved my cracking noise not only by tightening (which brings the case in and helped) but by 'pushing the case out' (effectively tightening). I made the memory stick thicker by applying 4 or 5 layers of sticking tape to the top only (not wrapping it around). It is harder to get out but this bulks out the free space between the case and stopped all the cracking on both sides.

Just working on the squeeky flip ribbon cable now.

Any ideas?
