The thing to watch out for on ebay is some auctions keep the bidders privet so you cant see who’s bidding and the pre-approved one’s are also dodgy since if you bid on them all the transactions don’t do through ebay so there are no records you sent money on ebay but I just bought a P900 on ebay for £524 a lot of money for a phone

hmm...might sound dodgy at first looking at ebay for a p900.BUT I got my p900 from ebay...u do have to check the reliability of the seller...a powerseller is more likely to be true.I bought mine from a powerseller from germany(they do have online shops in US and Germany-www.gsmphonesource.com/www.gsmphonesource.de).Paid for Buy it now for 700euros...and they promptly delivered it in 3 working days!so check bfr u buy!!

This will count for UK buyers/sellers more than anyone, but a (normally) safe bet is if they say they will only sell to UK users - normally that looks like they are keen to protect the sale and will be able to track and attack through the police when required.

Watch out for Charge backs if they pay by credit card - I lost a 9210 through this method.

Selling? 2 important points
1. NEVER ship until the money is CLEARED
2. If they ask for a tracking number, go to the post office, get the special delivery form and give them the number BEFORE posting - if they are gonna screw you over, it will be once the package is on its way - if after a day or so no charge back has happened, then you can ship with a bit more confidence.

Just remember that if you ship abroad the UK police have no way of acting on it (and didnt seem that bothered anyway).

Now i've bought 2 phones and sold many items since with no problems.

I have an email of a very reputable dealer from Ireland who i have bought phones off. He always delivers quick.
