Just wanted to add that T-Mobile USA has no clue to when they will or if they will launch their 3G network.

Lets hope AT&T and Cingular will be more progressive.

Besides if you do get a GSM, phones the signal sucks. At least where I used my aunt's 3650 all over CA !

I beg to differ. I have had very good signal with GSM phones in the US.....unless you live in any of the square states.

I have the Z600 under Cingular and I would suddenly lose all reception and network ability from time to time. But when I take the sim card and put it in another phone that I bought under Cingular, SE T616, it's got full reception.

Is it because the phone is bad? or the band isn't fully 900/1900 on cingular network?

I'm in Philly, Pa. Thanks.

the difference between t616 and Z600 is that the T616 supports the new 850 mhz band. I'd make an eductated guess that that is what causes your reception to increase on the T616
