I read all of it on t610 email client now,they wanted me to click a link and give some new credit card details!!!

I don't think its a paypal security issue, HSBC had a similar issue. Like you get an email from HSBC saying update your details for the internet banking and you will have a link to that page if you click that link you will be taken to a webpage exactly looking like the HSBC internet banking home page. And in effect we will be filling a form with our bank login for the hacker

I received a Ebay mail where they wanted me to fill in my credit card details. And I haven't got an Ebay account! Note the "hidden" destination of the URL.
