just curious with all those vodafone stuff.....

when u purchase the phones from them, is it cheaper than market rate within the country. ie... is vodaphone bearing some cost. are they any contracts etc.

is not...... then it's very **** for them to like hardwire all those stuff. imagine buying a sony clie with 64mb but 60mb are loaded with **** stuff. it's a ripoff, wouldn't it?

nothing important, just wanna tell my story.
i went to SE services centre last nite around 7pm.
they told me they needed more the 2hours to upgrade firmware! but they close at 8pm. so they wanted me to collect the next day.....

right now i m still holding my t610.....withthe old R1a firmware!
& i realized i can't live without it for a nite!! how absurd.

i'll try again later..... before 5pm.

as I mentioned earlier I have been through each upgrade on the T610 and none took more than 15 mins.

i understand. it got to do with the level of service they offer.

u know it took more that 2 days to switch a phone line from analog to digital (for adsl broadband). i could really happened is those technicians were drinking coffee/tea/coke/others til the last minute before they flip the switch (no offence, take it with a pinch of salt)

unless there are soooo many damaged SE products, i dun really c the "Q" to get things flushed. maybe they state 2 hours because they dun need to rush, or in case s**t happens.

well.... different places have different rule of thumb. just glad it's free. not much to complain. but thanks a lot, masseur.

Yendel Communications
81 Station road
Addlestone
Surrey
KT15 2AR

Tel:01932 850 202

Depending on how you travel, and from where, I would say its best to go on the M25 and then get off at J11... Addlestone in in the Weybridge, Walton-on-Thames, Hersham area

I went there yesterday morning at 9 and the service was very good and helpful. The lady was not even interested to see my telephone paperwork - proof of purchase kida stuff . I only had to complete one of their service dockets. I afterwards felt bad for going there and leaving empty-handed, so I bought a carkit thingy...

I would suggest that you goto Yendell, but keep in mind that they are open Mondays to Fridays only.

hmmm..... wonder....

just wanna find out the chances of losing stuff due to upgrades.

anyone who got back their phones post-flush and notice some "harmful side-effects" pls feel free to drop a line.

so this would warn others and serve as a probability gauge for "pre-flusher".
