I was going to use a digital camera to get a capture of the screen, then crop/resize the desktop to the proper dimensions. I can then compare this with one of the standard T610/Z600 templates, which should give me a good starting point for getting an O2 specific template.

Alternatively, I might ask the local ericsson service centre if they can remove the O2 branding when they flash the phone to the new firmware

I have the same problem the top left icon on the desktop menu is cutomised to an o2 symbol, im going to try to create a template freehand and see how well it fits, ill post if im successful

Don't forget that the top middle icon is different on the Z600, to the T610, so that would need adjusting too if you based it on a T610 template.

i do have the standard Z600 desktop for you, if anybody needs it. You'll only need to adjust your customised fw icons.

So as it is brought up. Have anyone managed to get rid of a Vodafone customization on Z600. Got it unlocked but cant find anyone who can get rid of that and it is bloody annoying.
