Z1010 and 6230 have both been set for a Q1 04 release, but how often do nokia meet their deadlines? Anything the 6230 can do the z1010 can do it better + z1010 has features the 6230 doesn't. So no, 6230 is not the most feature packed phone out there, z1010 is.

i am a bit confused here people keep saying that the nokia 6230 is a 3g phone which according to all the specs its not its just a tri band phone.
it looks to me to be aimed at the market where the t610 sits and were the t630 when it comes out will occupy if i am right on this the nokia will take a large chuck of the t630 sales as the specs are very impressive.
if i am wrong let me know

I was actually really excited about the 6230, but I read a preview of it on another thread (it was taken from some Russian site) and it looks like the screen is too small, similar to the 7250. If the screen is similar to the 7250 (the phone I currently have) then it is just not practical to use as a camcorder, and it is only just about usable for photos. It really dosn't show enough detail. If you ask me its all about the Sendo X. That phone kicks ass man!! I just hope they dont overprice it like the P900............

Everything about it (except it being a Nokia) sounded good about the 6230. But then I saw the screen!! Why are they so stubborn!! It will even make the phone look better with a taller screen. A well, the Sendo X will be the best phone for a reasonable price that'll come out in the nearn future. Hope they can deliver.

z1010 isn't in the same league so please don't compare. Wont the 65K screen aid the use of the camera facilities with the 6230? It won't look as bad as a 7250 but then again wont show the best detail. Does anyone know what pixel size it uses?
