Yes you can do that. That's nice but it's a pity that you can't transfer games, copyright...

I have my T68 for two years and I just bought a T610 a couple of weeks ago. I can say that the T68 is still a good phone. I don't use the camera too much, polyphonic tones of T610 are good but not necessary, and Java is ok but I don't use it. Everything else is the same featurewise. As mentioned above, T68 was THE phone and is a phone that changed the world of cellphones. The first with MMS, colorscreen and camera support, joystick, etc, etc ,etc. The T610 is more like an evolution to the T68, where the T68 was the REVOLUTION.
I use both phones now, I can't decide which one to use more. I will keep both and no way I am selling either of them. I will keep them as collective items.
I love SE!!!

i think it's just a case of the previous emotional investment in the first model. no matter that the newest phone may be technically better in every measurable sense, it will still fall in the shadow of the initial model because it only delivers incremental improvement over such a groundbreaking piece of technology.

There appears to be a prevalent sentiment amongst us that T68 (both m & I) was THE PHONE - with all the groundbreaking features and design - it simply left all the other phones in the dust for a year or so.
I think there will be a lot of water under the bridge until SE is able to repeat the success of T68. Besides, T68 goes down in history as the LAST Ericsson phone and the FIRST phone with a color monitor. Once these gadgets become obsolete, I think T68 should be in every museum as a paragon of a "Mobile phone", a primitive communication device around the turn of the millenium.

T610 does not have green and blue LED lights, but T68i has.
If the battery runs empty at night you won't see just looking towards the phone whether it switched off or still on standby.
I hope SonyEricsson will use LEDs again in the future models. [As the P900 has LEDs again and P800 not].
