Hi Ged,
It is GREAT to have such MIDlet. Thanks for the link.
Now all I can do is waiting for CAR-100 to come in local stores here.
Regards,

This is very bad news...now I have nothing stopping me from wasting money on this little gadget, which I have to say is the coolest uses of bluetooth, if not the most useful!

The reason the CAR-100 is not (officially) compatible with the P800/900 is that these phones do not have the 'Connectivity > Accessories' menu that phones such as T68i, T610, Z600 etc. have. The CAR-100 appears as an accessory in this menu AFAIK.
This is also the reason why those Bluetooth remote control programs such as
Salling Clicker,
Romeo, PC Control etc. don't work on P800/900.
A few months ago the author of Romeo said that he'd been told that a future firmware update for the P800 would add the necessary 'Accessories' menu. However, so far that seems not to be the case.

Download the P900 J2ME SDK included in there is an example application that will allow the P900 to control CAR100. Will not work on P800.
