Had my P8 for a few months now and all of a sudden it happened...
whipped out the stylus and saw a little chip of paint fluttering onto the table.. (WTF!?)
Anyway, in a few months ya'll probably be getting ready to buy the new PXXXX
And so will I! lol

@mobman
Being that the stylus is a bit more tip heavy then the one equiped with the P800 I noticed a lot for dents and divits into the top skin layer of the screen protector. Those dents could have been on the actual screen if I didn't have that plastic layer on there. You can kinda hear it clunk on the screen at times too if you're not careful. So I'd have to say the screen change over rate is mostly due to the heavier P900 stylus that creates more surface contact pressure/force on the screen.

usin' my p800 for four months already: a pair of scraches on the screen (can be seen anly from a special angle), than styli holder 'nail' loosed a half of it's painin', 3 screches on front of the case and 2 on the styli side (1 really big) - that's what i got after the three time falling on the asphalt from my hands... i don't use a 'default bag' by sony ericsson or any other protection things... ghat's what you can expect from a p800 after the six weeks
to my mind it is a great problem sony ericcson didn't invent some fast case changin' system for the p series...

five months into P800 ownership and it's still perfect

gotten through a few screen protectors, but i'm using cheap rubbish ones - they do the job but scratch up quick.
dropped it for the first time on Monday - only a foot or so onto the desk, but i didn't like the noise it made! going to try not to do that again...

The paint on my stylus has flaked off, and rusted preventing the top to screw out correctly.
But then why do I need to screw it out, and its rusty cos I chew it.
I have a pack of three waiting at home for when it gets critical.
So dont chew your stulus! You have been warned.
