@ techboy
hayaan mo, makakarating sa Express Telecom ang request mo na FULL ACCESS and NO BLOCKING of sites. ako bahala... =)

@galing mo mag paliwanag adv
great info at tama ka dun na Verizon usa ang no. 1 network (with more subscribers pa) dito sa tate at hindi cingular o t-mobile na parehong GSM which both their services really sucks. kaya nga america's most reliable network ang Verizon dito thaks in part sa gamit nilang tech.

i agree.
unlike the latest entrant in the cellular industry, there is not even any guarantee that Express Telecom's CDMA2000 network will be of nationwide coverage at launch date (which is yet to be announced). remember that they currently have an analog network, so it is most likely that CDMA2000 coverage will only be INITIALLY available at Metro Manila and selected cities, so if you go outside the CDMA coverage, you can still fall back to analog signal.
so, don't expect too much, so you will not be disappointed.
but one thing is for sure, the technology is far more advanced, and if we, the subscribers, are going to give Express Telecom a chance, we might get to enjoy better services at a better price. it will not be totally fool-proof but if we help them help us, then we might see a network operator who really works for its customers, and vice-versa.
You see, the advantages of a CDMA2000 network versus any Philippine GSM network lies in its high-speed transmission of data over the network.
If you are someone who just sends text messages or makes voice calls more often, then you might not immediately notice any difference.
But if you are someone who always surfs the net using your mobile phone, or sends MMS messages frequently, or likes to download multimedia content to your phone, then the new CDMA2000 network can offer you improved and faster delivery of services.
Especially if you are not much of a traveler and usually stays around Metro Manila or in any first-class city here in the Philippines, you might want to wait for Extelcom's CDMA2000 network and then be one of the first to avail of their new digital services.
Although already in the business for more than 14 years now, Extelcom as an operator will not be spared by problems related to their new network since it will be as if they are going to start anew. But with proper patience and constructive support from prospective subscribers, they can use this to further improve the network until it is perfected.
anyway, my bottom line is that no network can be 100% perfect at time of launch, but if we don't expect too much and we get to support their new network, then we help them further improve it, which in turn helps us back as subscribers.
the only thing that you should expect is tighter competition, but rest assured that technologically-wise, Extelcom will have a better advantage over its competitors.
