> Help to decide! (Z600 or...?)

Dear GlassJAw, thank you for the link but from what I read in that thread it seems that the guys liked the V500 more than the Z600. Thanks for all the guys who replied but I still didn't get decisive replies, I need someone to give practical differences between the two phones, for instances like the memory are the 3 MB difference a big deal, what about the bluetooth function between the two phones (I require full bluetooth functions), the camera is of no big deal as long as it performs the usual functions and gives decent pictures. Another thing the ring tones, are the MP3 ring tones of the V500 makes a difference or it's of limited functionaltiy. What about the price for a sim free phone are they of the same price or not. Sorry for bothering you guys and I would appericiate your replies very much. Thank you.

Well, I have a Z600 and wouldn't swap it for anything. It has a nice OS, and all the functions are sensibly grouped in the menu. Yes, it has a lot of features (all good) but most importantly they are easily accessible.
Bluetooth is generally flawless, battery life seems good (about 4 days with BT use, camera and too much playing of pac-man

) The sync with XP is fine, but I'm still trying to get by BT working with Linux so no comments there.
What do you want out of the phone?

im sure i mentioned this in the other thread but i had the same decision to make. the se bluetooth functions are far greater, OBEX file transfer rules! you can just browse files on the phone! also z600 has hundreds of themes and changable covers, though i dont know if they are released yet.
just get the z600 and love it, its hard not to

A mate of mine is in the same situation. Was deciding between a V525 and a Z600.
Feature-wise the V525 wins - has pretty much everything that the Z600 has but better Java so IM works (hello SE HELLO?)
Costwise the V525 wins - Vodafone offered the V525 for AUD396 while the cheapest Z600 on the street was AUD599.
Z600 does look a lot better though.
The only problem is that Vodafone has withdrawn the offer of the Motos because they can't get any! Is that the same everywhere else? Typical Motorola!

I just got my Z600 and I love it, I really don't pay attententio to the camera on the phone for me it's just a toy, thats why I have a digital camera. I got my unit about 5 days ago and I'm EXTREMELY happy with it, I'm a first time SE user, always used nokias before. had no problems with hanging whatsoever, I love my phone!
