have heard oday that SE have shipped a Java application that will control CAR-100 from a P900. See the P900 SDK for this.

A couple more notes....The best series of motors I have found so far come from
www.zipzaps.com where you will find the gear sets and motors. There is a 3600 rpm NOS motor that I am gonna buy and strap it on to this baby....
When you buy a new body, look for one that has a relatively tall cabin so that the antenna can fit. Some of the bodies have a short roof line so to speak and will create problems when trying to fit them.
Finally, I had to drill a hole in the back to accomodate the on/off buttong which by the way, I removed the little thingy that sits around it with the silver stripes.
ENJOY and post your pics....

Its not an issue if it has bluetooth or not, its whether the firmware in the phone has the ability to control the car once its been paired, and only

phones have that capability in their firmware
Another problem using a non-SE phone, you won't be able to charge the car!
Mattyv; Nice modification! I was expecting some minor changes rather than a completely different car, you should stick a bluetooth sticker on it somewhere

Where can I get a bluetooth sticker from? I also want to extract the sony ericsson logo from the old body and put it on the new one.
To all, I have recently purchased a new battery which should have about twice the amperage of the current battery. This will only mean that it can last longer, not that it will make the car faster, but, there is the ability to put two batteries in series and increase the speed.
toyeast.com is a good source for motors, bodies and batteries. They are cheap too, but the shipping is kind of expensive.

Do any of you know the stock specs of CAR-100?
Could I just go to my radioshack and buy those zipzap motors, and they'd work?

Yes you can....that's exactly the point. SE gave us a car that can easily be modified. TO learn what you can do with the cars go to
www.microrccars.com and go straight to the forums for zip zaps.
There is a ton of things you can do!
