Well said John!
I experienced the same when I posted a topic about a new release-time for the T68m -> T68i upgrade.
Got some quite rued ansvers from some "oldtimers" because they knew for sure that the upgrade would be available in W16. Well, it's W17 now and we are still waiting for the upgrade...

I totally agree that some people here obviously has forgotten that everybody has been a newbee. Or maybe they just don't know how to behave.

Hi John.
All I wrote was that this was old information and I thanked you for reminding us about this upgrading-event. I hope you didn't misunderstood me there. If that's the case, I have to apologize about that.
No hard feelings at all, John!

And what is more, I think that there is nothing wrong with posting about the same topic a few times! Who remembers a 2 months old thread? Btw, I don't like the search function, it is way better to start over a new discussion, someone could have something new to add... But I'm only a newbie... ;-)

Ops John!
Just discovered that you was one of the "oldtimers" that answered my topic. What comes around, goes around...
No hard feelings

some of you need to think before you post, then you wont be apologising for your obvious rude arrogant behaviour.

Well, I think (hope) John didn't meant me when he said that some people was didn't consider the newbees on this forum. If you read his topic you can see that he gets pissed off when a user called "Jucame" posts his reply...

"they are not obliged to read the 2nd topic again and make smart arse remarks"
Wasnt it you that posted this?
"Lots of new users are posting the same topics over and over again!!!can all the new users please read the previous topics before adding the same ones?? "

Hmm....
So what if there's 2 or 3 threads with the same question...? If it's a frequently asked question, it wont get answered the 4th time it is posed. Then they will have to find it another way - by searching.
Relax!
Dan.

@edwardm
LOL!!
That was really good. If people already have read a thread about the topic, then why not just ignore it.

So what if it's old information... As long as it's new to someone, right?
