@ superluminova
Watching a film or a television episode on your P900 is fantatsic! Get your priorities right though, for great viewing quality use a television or even better a cinema screen. If you are simply wanting to fill in some time whilst on the bus\train then a quick episode of the Simpsons\Star Trek\Frasier\Blackadder, etc is a marvellous thing to keep one amused.
The viewing quality is never going to be the same as that of a TV, but then it isn't meant to be, is it? It is a 'novelty' feature more than anything, but one that is very much appreciated I think.
The P900 is a glimpse of an integrated future. I can definitely imagine a day in the not so distant future when we will be using integrated devices that are able to cover a wide range of abilities e.g. mobile phone, e-mail, personal television, music player, games, camcorder, voice recorder, wordprocessing, spread sheets, etc ... oh wait, the P900 can do all that!
Seriously though, a day will come when we will be using devices which can do all of the things that I have mentioned above, but at the same level of quality that the best device currently on the market can achieve.

problems with the 6600 is you have to take the battery off just to change meory cards. whats the point of having that much memory say you want to watch a film the screens to small to watch something in an enjoyble way
Sound out put is shit no doubt you have to use crappy pop port head phones
and its quite chunky and it has keys! you cant write on it!
this is a step back wards.

Evil,
For what it's worth I've owned both 6600 and P900. 6600 is a great phone but there are a number of downsides - The major ones in my book are:
1 - SD cards are a non-starter, it only accepts MMC cards and only certain brands of MMC at that. Believe me having the card underneath the battery is a proper pain also.
2 - No stereo for MP3 playback on Real Player and as for video on a screen that small a well encoded MP4 is virtually indistinguishable from an .RM file.
3 - Screen is good for brightness but not anywhere near as big as P900
4 - Opera is nowhere near as good on the 6600.
5 - Build quality was very poor on the example I got
6 - E-mail client is nowhere near as comprehensive. Cannot download "headers only" for example with POP3 accounts, this can make for long waits and big GPRS expenditure
7 - Quickoffice is view only and has none of the edit functionality of the UIQ version.
Plus a whole bunch of other things in my opinion, but if you just want a fancy phone and don't need the more business skewed functions and more rounded multimedia capabilities of the P900 then the Nokia is a fine gadget.

The only thing that's still keeping me to want a p9 is the screen, oh and the fact that I really don't like Nokia (generic piece of crap phones), I am really scared that I was very nearly swayed over to the dark and unpleasant side.

go get the p900 on o2 on the o2 400 traiff, you get a free p900 and its only £45 a month for 3 months then £15 (if you want to change down to the lowest tariff) for 9 months meaning a p900 for the grand total of = £270
i know you can get it on orange much cheaper if you play they system right, but thats too risky in my view and also your p900 won't have a bloody stupid bright orange sticker on it

My girlfriend bought a Nokia 6600 just cuz its a Nokia. It's a kids toy and a Chick phone. She has a 6 month old P800 and a 1 month old P900 in stuffed inside a big ass shoe box. She claimes the Pxxx was too much for her. Moreover, she said she was used to Nokias. She barely used half the functionalities of the Pxxx phones. I had to force her to not give her P900 to her 16 yr old sister who more likely would have painted flowers on it. With ringtones / camera being the biggest priority for most users Nokia was able to pull the wool over her eyes.. I didn't think complicated women would enjoy simple things. And then again, I didn't think grown men should play with toys either..
