So in summary, now having the Camcorder & V-Rally, the P800 now matches the P900! Except for...
-the greatly improved screen
-better operating system
-customisable UI with themes
-more useful jogdial functionality
-more memory
-larger supplied Duo
-better looks
-better build quality
-better (actually useable) flip
-better stylus
-smaller
-lighter
-online f/w update capabilities
-T9 text input
-2 processors not 1
..you get the idea!

I'm quite happy at a P800 - not going to buy a new model until there's something available with built-in WiFi networking. There's nothing in a P900 that would entice me into the $200-300 it would cost me to upgrade, not counting the time selling off my P800, etc.

I agree with the previous comment. I personally use the P800 for a PDA in terms of organiser and tasks and to check emails on the move. Unless im mistaken there are no significant improvements in the P900 which would justify me buying a P900.

I can't bear to see this 'P900 has two processors' thing bandied around any more - the basic electronics in the P800 and P900 are identical. Which is why the P800 can handle VRally just as well as the P900, etc.

No more urban myths, please!

I have used the P800 for 4 months and the P900 for about 6 weeks. I keep repeating on this forum the range of minor improvements (the screen is not the same unless it is not basic electronics and I assume no new electronics are needed to make use of the colour capabilities of the screen) make the P900 a much better Smartphone. I am really amazed how the basic electronics in the P900, which are 100% the same as the P800, make the P900 a much more useable machine.
