with vodafone, create a new internet account with "internet" as the apn (address). this will then work. its 2004 and we dont have flying cities or hoverboards i am well disappointed.

to use opera you need to set your connection to use this proxy server otherwise you wont go anywhere but the o2 homepage 193.113.200.195 and port 8080 or 80 hope this help, it works on my p800

No. You do *not* need to use a proxy server (and should not) if you're using the mobile.o2.co.uk APN (assuming you're on O2 UK).

I too am having probs getting Opra to work on my P900

Like the original poster, I could get "one the web" as it were, with the built in web browser but it was incredibly slow (yes it was via gprs)

My question is this. Will I be able to browse the proper REAL web, and do emailing and all that stuff on my 02 PAYG sim card ? (the 300 free texts a month one)

I was told in an 02 store the web only works on contract sims, but I can believe they don't know what they are talking about.

Can anyone who is using the 02 payg tarrif sim on their p900 and using opera succesfully confirm this please...

Many thanks
