I had it too!
It's due to the screws being machined on, the Left screw is too tight!
Take off that little cover at the bottom, follow the provided instructions as if your removing the flip.
Losen the left screw a turn or two, play around until you get it just right. it's too tight u c, pulling the left side down Too tight, making the right side lift up.
it's perfect now here.
good luck. u might have more luck if you fully remove the flip then reinstall, thats what i did to fully understand the problem.

Be bloody careful taking the flip fully off. I did it this morning just to reset my flip correctly. There is the tiniest bit of plastic that holds the flip down (as well as the screws of course) and it broke off so easily
Now I can only use my flip on. I cant use flip off.. as it doubled as a clip point for the "flip off" cover.
Bad bad craftsmanship.
Ps.. before anyone starts with "you were too rough"... I work in fibre optic telecommunications, so I know how to be careful with ultrafine things ok?

specifically the hardest part for me was removing that cover that hides the screws. i always gave up cos i didnt want to damage that plastic cover, it's quite thin.
my advice is to knock it off in a fast motion, constant hard pressure just begins to 'dig in' to it.

the reason that the flip is less closed on the right hand side is because of that little button on the bottom left of the phone that tells the phone if the flip is open or not.
i think the extent of which the flip stays open on the right must change from phone to phone cos mine is hardly noticable.
when was your phone made? mine was 03wk47 (under battery)
