I'm buying a Z600, I have read the WhitePaper from

and seems fine to me, although if you can choose the T630, go for it... it's better, a lot better, TFT display, better camera (640X480) an so on (too lazy to read).
Have the money? T630
Flipstyle? Z600
Candybar? T610
Matters of $$$ and preference

Perhaps read the whitepaper again
T630 is not alot better.
Yes it has a TFT screen where the Z600 has a TFD screen - and the difference is very small. Apart from that it is almost exactly the same phone - in a different design. It does not have a better camera, its the same camera. It does not have a 640x480 camera - it has a cif 352x288 camera - but with software on the phone to resize the picture to VGA - and it looks absolutely horrible when you do. (Ive seen the result of doing this)
The only thing that is different on T610, Z600 and T630 are design, screentypes (STN, TFD, TFT) and very very small differences in software on the phones.

@TheRealSpawn
You're right, seems I forgot that part... ejeje
"The built-in camera is capable of taking still pictures
up to common image format (CIF) resolution
(288 x 352 pixels) and 24 bit colour depth. In addition,
it is possible to let the phone automatically
resize the image to VGA resolution (480x640 pixels)."
Could you please tell the differences between the display types?

in nontechnical terms you could say:
the T610 has STN screen - looks very good unless under direct sunlight and uses the least power.
the Z600 has TFD screen - looks slightly better, slighty better colors, a litle sharper and better under direct sunlight, but use a litle more power.
the T630 has TFT screen - again looks slightly better than the others, but also use more power than the others.
Resolution 128x160 and number of colors 65000 are the same and under normal lighting conditions the difference really isnt that big - atleast not as big as some people like to say. The difference is biggest under direct sunlight.
Anyways - I think all 3 phones are simply wonderfull phones - in general I think the T610 was one of the best, most harmonic phones ever build in terms of design, functions etc. - continuing this platform in 2 other models like the Z600 and T630 with slight differences in design and screens are a masterpiece from SE. This range covers a hughe mass of buyer types. Almost everyone can find a phone they like in one of these 3 models - whether youre into clamshell with exchangeable covers (Z600), classic design as in T610 or youthfull design as in T630. And all 3 models are sure to bring satisfaction to most users in terms of number of problemfree functions and ease of use. The screenimprovements first in Z600 and then in T630 are just natural development from SE due to time and competition and propably feedback from users about the direct sunlight issues of the original STN screen found on T610.
There are a very few number of issues on these phones that are not topnotch which I have said before - like the camera not being one of the best around - and a litle bit more than 2 mb memory would have been nice - but considering the number of functions on these models, the overall topnotch quality, and the reasonable price I still think these phones give most value for money overall compared to almost any phone around.

I've been thinking of buying the new SE T230 since I can't afford a T610. What can you say about the model? How about the new Nokia 3200? Your opinion is highly appreciated.
When i saw the SE T230 i thought 'WOW!'. I was convinced i was going to buy the SE T230, but then i saw the Nokia 3200... guess which fone out of the two i own... the NOKIA 3200!!! The Nokia 3200 has so much more features than the SE T230, even though i havent bought the T230 and tried it out you can try it out on SE Website on the demo and ive gotta say it doesnt even compare to the Nokia 3200. It has a built in camera (instead of using a bulky attachment) EDGE/x-HTML technology for faster and better WAP browsing. Plus with infra-red you can put loadza media on the fone (ringtones, pictures, AMR sounds (Nokia PC Suite 5 has a Media Player to convert WAV files to AMR type for the 3200 to play). The AMR sounds are good, they sound the same as the WAV file version on the computer. Even thought the SE T230 has 32 Polyphonic chords and the Nokia 3200 has 16 Chords there isnt much of a sound difference. 16 chords is more than enough to get a rich polyphonic sound. Plus whats the use of having 32 chords polyphony when you cant zap tones to your mobile for free??? Nokia 3200 is a must buy!
