You need free GPRS access to use web for free. Wap is something else, only few wap sites you can browse. This message was posted from a WAP device

although you can use a CSD connection to browse the net many daft people refer to CSD as WAP. so yes you can use your WAP minutes to browse the net.

I know there are people here at Esato with Pxxxs using the Genie SIM for WAP access. As other posters have said, there are two types of GPRS connection. WAP uses a WAP gateway normally associated with your network, in your case O2/Genie. This gateway limits you to WAP sites only. WAP sites and the "web" are different, in general web pages use various versions of HTML and not WML which is used for WAP. Hopefully someone with a Genie SIM will read this thread - it would help if the thread title was a bit more specific.
